The mural at Wilshire Crest Elementary is one of two that have a positive message for the young students about protecting our earth. The mural depicts a dreamlike image of a girl with upswept arms and various animals in front of the earth. The mural "Earth Sustain" was  designed in a simple colorful, graphic style to appeal to the children and also to make it easier for volunteers to participate in painting the mural on Earth Day.
