This mural was inspired by an effort to educate students about the importance of protecting the environment. The young students were invited to do artwork reflecting their ideas on environmental protection. These drawings inspired and influenced the mural. A few of the student drawings were utilized by myself-(project artist) in the actual creation of the mural. Many students, parents and teachers participated in the project.
