The mural at Foshay Learning Center in So. Central Los Angeles was created to celebrate the ethnic diversity within the school of 3,500 students. The design is of four large scale faces symbolizing the various races. The background is composed of bright colored shapes. The location is at the top of the exterior of the school auditorium. It was a logistical challenge due to the height of the wall for the mural and the narrow space between buildings to access it. It was achieved by utilizing a cherry picker to navigate the space carefully.
