“Celebration Of The Sea” Mural Santa Monica Pier acrylic on wood 8’ x 275’ 2,200 sq. ft 2012 This temporary 2200 sq. ft. wall around this restaurant under construction was the site for a mural reflecting the sea life in the waters surrounding Santa Monica Pier. It is popular with the multitude of visitors who visit the pier daily and is the backdrop for many a photo. It is planned that the panels will have an afterlife after the construction is finished either on other parts of the pier, in the carousel, perhaps at local schools or sold as a fundraiser for Heal The Bay. It was a great project to be part of with so much positive feedback from the public including some delightful comments from kids.
